Description of GliderPal GliderPal is aimed at paraglider and hangglider pilots. It allows access to information from the DHV flight database and shows airspaces from Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland. Please note that airspaces of some countries may be out of date (see data on skyfool.de) features • Access to DHV flight database • Access to airspaces from Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland • Route planning with marks for FAI triangle • Flight mode with position, lane, direction, speed, altitude, climb • Terrain and airspaces available offline • Terrain database can be updated at any time by download • Airspaces can be updated at any time by download • Automatic data update • Display of airfields on map or in list form • Map in street and satellite view • Start types slope, tow marked in color • Display of start directions on map • Display of required glide ratio between take-off and landing place on map • search criteria: radius in km from the place, paraglider / hang glider, start direction, min. Height difference, start type, access (car, on foot, public transport) • Terrain search for criteria in the vicinity o of the current location o a desired place (place or terrain name) o a place set on the map • Terrain list sorted by distance from the place incl • Call phone numbers of the terrain contacts • Call of terrain websites • Call the DHV site site • Write mails to site contacts • Navigate to take-off and landing sites via ext. app • View all information from the terrain database • Airspaces on map marked in color by class • Airspace information name, class, lower and upper limit • Airspace lower and upper limits are also displayed converted into meters. • Airspace classes can be individually faded in and out I tested the app for my options. Should it nevertheless come to malfunction of the app, please send me a bad review of a bug report and give me the opportunity to fix it. This also benefits the other users and leads to higher motivation for the author. This is available in the app via a link as PDF. The data for the airspaces were provided by the DFC Saar eV. Commercial use of the data is excluded by the provider of the data. I assume no liability for the correctness of the data of the DHV terrain database and the airspaces. Use of the data and the app at your own risk. Data protection: No direct personal data will be forwarded to me or third parties. The app uses Google Maps. To what extent data is sent to Google, please refer to their privacy policy. Bugsense is used for qual7up Down Rummyity assurance. In case of crashes and download problems I get information about the error as well as hardware and software information. Also here no personal data are collected.
